Mission is a popular word around Bethel Church.  We often talk about the mission of our church and being on mission with our ministry teams.  But what do we mean when we talk about mission?  How does someone engage on mission?  Our God is missional and has sent us (His church) to join Him on mission.  In this series, Pastor Jeromy and Josh discuss how the strategy – Prayer, Care, Share – can help individuals, teams, and small groups engage on mission.

For Small Group Leaders
If you’re a small group leader, thank you for listening to the podcast and taking an interest in these topics.  Josh and I want to help you build dialogue with your group to discuss the truth of Scripture and its application to our every day lives.  This podcast – Prayer, Care, Share – is to help you start the conversation with your group about being on mission.  Here are some suggestions on how to use this with your group: 

• Encourage your group to listen to the podcast on their own.  Its better to listen separately (not as a whole group) and then discuss it.  
• Encourage your group to read the Scripture in the notes and any others that relate to mission.  Discuss as a group which verses catch their attention and why.  
• You might make this topic a starter discussion to kick off your group time, a closing discussion to end your session, or incorporate it into your current study together.  
• Begin making missions a priority in your group prayer time.

• How can we make our prayers more missional?  
• Who can we begin praying for regularly?  missionaries? The unsaved? The unchurched? Neighbors? Those in need?
